Internet niche marketing allows you to focus on certain portions of the market. It aims to address a product or service that is not being met by mainstream providers. A niche market is also a narrowly defined group of potential customers. The internet niche market was created due to changes in society and peoples purchasing patterns. With the internet a new demand for services has resulted that has provided adequate support for niche marketing. Though smaller than the mainstream market place, it can be quite profitable due to the benefits of specialization and focus on small identifiable market segmets.
