I think its true that the free ones are always the best but its so hard to find decent content on the net these days especially for free. When starting off with internet marketing its easy to skip from sales page to sales page and to read through endless emails telling yourself your researching. Building a list is a bit more complicated and should be a side project to concentrate on. Web 2.0 Marketing is great for beginners. Together with a few other simple techniques its the best way to make money quickly and learn the ropes of internet marketing. Its completely free so your not risking any of your own money and its perfect for finding out what works and what doesnt. Using Squidoo and other social marketing websites (Hubpages etc) is a perfect way to set up and test pre-sales pages promoting products. You can then use article marketing (Bum marketing is a great form of this) and other techniques to drive tonnes of traffic to your sites. If something isnt working you learn from it and move on to the next program. There really is a shed load of money to be earned here.
